The meeting was attended by representatives of the Marshal Office, Lublin Eco-Energy Cluster, Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation - National Research Institute in Pulawy and Lublin Development Foundation. During the meeting, presentations were made by representatives of the Bioeconomy and Systems Analysis Department of IUNG BIP. Dr. Magdalena Borzęcka discussed the establishment of the "bioeconomy, new strategies for Poland (BioEcon)." Dr. Jerzy Kozyra approached issues related to global climate change and its impact on climate change in Poland, and Dr. Rafal Pudelko presented the resource potential of straw and its surplus in the Lublin region.
After the presentations there was a discussion on the future of bioeconomy in the region, development of the platform proposed by IUNG and networking opportunities.
